I use to box and I use to do martial arts years ago, and it was such a wonderful stress reliever. When I was done boxing, I felt great. And when I was done doing martial arts, I felt amazing.
Almost everyone knows that doing some form of physical exercise will help with depression, anxiety, and stress, but not everyone has the money or time to spend on the training. I get it.
Let's jump right into talking about job stress for a moment.
I can understand why so many suffer at their jobs. I use to work in a corporate job, where I had a desk and a business card (I did sales) and then I got another job, where I worked in a cubicle. Both jobs were stressful as all hell, and you got to get those numbers up or you'll be kicked right out the door! Nice...huh?
I like to joke a lot and I enjoy moving around, but at my job, I really could not do what I wanted to do, when it came to exercise. In fact, when you are working at a job, you are sitting most of the time, and it will catch up with you.
I've seen it happen to me and other people. The job starts out good and than six months later, you can't stand your boss and co-workers. Next, you are really hooked on coffee and walking around always on edge. Someone says something smart, and you want to rip their head off and throw it into a wood chipper.
In other words, you need a way to let out that pent up energy. You need something to do where you can experience a RELEASE! And you need to cut back on your coffee, Red Bull, and MONSTER drinks.
Are you overthinking everything at work and at home?
Thinking about something over and over again, is like playing a horror movie over and over again. It's not fun, and that is why it's better to TAKE ACTION, then it is to over think every little thing. Over thinking is a waste of time!
But is there a solution?
The possible answer: A desktop punching bag allows you to TAKE ACTION and to RELEASE the pent up stress and frustration. Now you can put the picture of someone who has chewed on your last nerve on a punching bag. I know that sounds extreme, but we live in a crazy world, full of stupid people, and cruel bastards! It's TRUE!
It's always better to hit the punching bag, than it is to hit the bottle or to hit someone else. This is a much better choice, with consequences that won't lead to jail.
I once watched a guy get so mad at a job, that he turned beet red. They had to call the cops to come, because he was making threats to blow the place up. You could say, I was a little nervous about this dude. Again, it's better to hit the bag, than do some hard time in the slammer!
