I remember watching The Howling movie from 1981 with the stunning Dee Wallace. The movie was fantastic and if you have not seen it, check it out soon!
And another horror movie I enjoyed was the Silver Bullet movie (Stephen King movie adaptation). Both of these werewolf movies have a good rating and they are perfect to watch on Halloween or when the moon is full.
Speaking of werewolves, I bought a werewolf mask when I was a kid back in the late 70s from Johnson Smith Company, which was so cool and scary. Johnson Smith was my "go-to company" for all that was weird and bizarre.
I would wear that wolf mask and terrorize people with it. I would hide in the dark, and wait for the right moment to scare someone. It's all timing and it's all about the set up. I use to scare the kids who came over so bad, they would run home screaming. Now that's a talent!
Why did I get into scaring other kids at such a young age? It's because when I was about 7 years old, I stayed up after midnight, while the parents were sleeping and watched The Wolf Man, from 1941.
Probably, my favorite werewolf movie would be An American Werewolf in London, from 1981, that had the phenomenal makeup artist Rick Baker, who designed the creepy creatures.
One thing I never had, but it would have been great if I did, was a "Howling Werewolf Rug". I would have freaked people out with that one easily.
The "Scary Peeper Fright At First Sight Animated Werewolf Rug" is a good buy for pranking or you can give it as a gift to someone who loves werewolf movies.
What I like about this dreadful rug, is that it's contact activated, so you can set it up anywhere in your home and it looks so realistic.
Personally, I would put it in dark areas where someone can walk into it, and get the living daylights scared out of them. Even putting it in a dark closet can work on a family member. The best is a walk in closet with a hallway. Oh and make sure you remove the closet light bulb, so the person you're scaring can see the werewolf eyes glow in the dark.
Be creative, and come up with your own ideas on how you want to scare someone. Rooms that are not well lit will work or maybe putting it in the back of a car at night. The person gets in the backseat, and the next thing you know, they are screaming.
What's really frightful is the "Howling Werewolf Rug" has eyes that glow a demonic red. In my humble opinion, this is the icing on the cake for pranking people. You're getting a double whammy! Just think, you get the howling and the glowing eyes.
If you are looking for a prop that is unique, hideous, monstrous, and uncanny, this one is it! Don't wait, get yours today, and scare all your friends away.
