Pull up your chair and grab a cold beer, because I'm going to do a Mrs. Renfro's Ghost Pepper Salsa Review, and you won't want to miss this, because I am really into hot scorching deadly hot peppers from the pits of the abyss!
As I look back at the beginnings of my hot pepper journey, it's pretty wild, because in the early 1990s I thought habanero peppers were the hottest peppers, but once the Internet started really rocking, I then found out that there were way hotter peppers out there.
In fact, I begin researching on the Internet and found the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, and immediately ordered some powder, where I could put it on my tasty food dishes and in my soups.
I couldn't wait to try it out and feel the burn. The Trinidad Moruga Scorpion had an average of 1,200,000 SHU (scoville heat units). How hot can it be ... right? Well, I tried it and it tasted terrible, but the heat was freaking amazing. The next day I went to the john, and it was a razor-blade like pain coming out of me. At this point I knew I had found a WINNER!
For me, the hottest peppers have a tremendous healing effect on my body. When I eat hot peppers raw or use the powder on foods, I feel the burn, and then I feel super awesome. I know the hot peppers are boosting my immune system and increasing blood flow, but wait, there's more! These hot peppers seem to balance my overall system. In other words, I can be feeling really tired and out of it, but after the hot peppers, I feel more alive, alert, and ready for action.
There are all kinds of articles online about Ghost Peppers and Trinidad Moruga Scorpion peppers, but not much talk anymore about habanero's. I believe the poor habanero's are being left behind, thanks to YouTube where people are showing how strong their pain thresholds are, while eating the hottest pepper's they can get their hands on. On YouTube you will see people biting into a Ghost Pepper or a Trinidad Moruga Scorpion pepper without any preparation, and as a result, they start crying and falling towards the ground like little babies. Of course, many of them are doing it for YouTube views!
I worked myself up to the hottest peppers on earth, and it's smart to start small and build up. Right now, as of this writing, the Carolina Reaper is coming in first at 2,200,000 SHU and the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion is coming in at 2,009,231 SHU. And in 7th place is the Ghost Pepper coming in at 1,041,427 SHU, which is excellent!
Hot peppers have multiple uses for me and the first one is fighting a cold. For example, you can add some sliced garlic cloves with some hot peppers to your chicken noodle soup and you have a good chance of beating that nasty cold in a shorter amount of time. Most colds can keep you in bed for two weeks straight, but with the Carolina Reaper, Trinidad Moruga Scorpion and the Ghost Pepper (Bhut Jolokia), you might be able to cut a week off or more, so you're not laying in bed for two weeks and using up your vacation time from work!
Secondly, I use the hottest peppers as a sexual stimulant, which is quite effective for increasing blood flow. Thirdly, I use it to spice up my bland tasting foods. And last but not least, I use it to keep my body healthy. Hot peppers have been said to fight bacteria in the blood stream and do a whole lot more. We are still waiting for science to reveal what hot peppers can do. I also want to add that hot peppers may be helpful in balancing your blood sugar, so it might just be useful for treating diabetes, but before you do anything, always consult your medical doctor first!
Now, let me jump right into the Mrs. Renfro's Ghost Pepper Salsa Review. Amazingly, I was walking around the health food section at the Top's Friendly Markets in NY, and I found Mrs. Renfro's Ghost Pepper Salsa. I must have walked past it a million times. Anyways, I bought some and tried it and I was pleasantly surprised at how hot it was and good it tasted. The salsa is chunky and the Ghost Pepper taste rocks! I tried it with some Garden of Eatin' blue chips, that are made with organic blue corn, and it was powerful and I believe healthy combination.
The heat that was delivered really did the job with each chip I dipped in the hot salsa and consumed. In fact, the burn felt great. Of course, the next day on the john, I really felt it. When I'm eating these hot peppers with food or when I going to bathroom the next day, I get this wonderful explosion of endorphins, which feels heavenly. The pain for me is not necessarily sadistic, as it is healing. If you have ever felt that your body was out of balance, you might want to try a flaming hot pepper, and see how your body feels after that.
I would strongly recommend buying Mrs. Renfro's Ghost Pepper Salsa as a gift for someone you love or a mistress that you want back in your life--let her know you're still hot for her. In fact, just get yourself some Mrs. Renfro's Ghost Pepper Salsa first and try it out, and then give it as a gift. Also, if you get a chance try out Mrs Renfro's Carolina Reaper Salsa, make sure you are prepared. If you do try the REAPER, get ready to sweat and hold on for dear life when you are on the john. Interestingly, the only "SCORCHING HOT" peppers you'll find in any grocery store right now, is possibly Mrs. Renfro's. I've looked and I don't think anyone else has the guts to enter the super market space like Mrs. Renfro's deadly hot pepper salsas.
